Sub:  TSWREIS – Engaging Part time teachers for the year 2016-17 - Conducting demo – Instructions issued – Reg.

          The attention of all the District Coordinators and all the Principals of TSWR Institutions is invited to the reference cited, wherein, the Society issued certain instructions on engaging part time teachers

          The District Coordinators shall follow the instructions given below while engaging the services of part time teachers in the existing vacancies for the academic year 2016-17.

1. They should prefer the candidates who are possessing the qualifications prescribed to the post in which they are proposed to engage.

2. The District Coordinators should arrive the actual number of vacancies of subject teachers, PETs and Staff Nurses in consultation with the  concerned Principals.

3. They should organize a demo to the required number of candidates at district level duly forming a committee as follows by  06.06.2016:

District Coordinator                  - Chairman.

Concerned Principal                  - Convenor

Subject experts [2] numbers      - Members.

4. The demo shall be on the similar lines of demo conducted to the Contract teachers. Proficiency in English and, concerned subject, and pedagogy must be tested during this demo.

5. No formal orders or any other communication in writing should be issued to them to avoid further complications.  Any deviation in this regard, the Principals concerned will be personally held responsible. 

6. There are some complaints that, certain Principals are engaging their relatives and others on part time basis though they are not possessing the minimum qualifications of the post.  Further there are also some complaints that certain Principals are not paying remuneration properly as fixed to the Part time teachers.  Stringent action will be initiated, if any such incidents are noticed in future.

7. The performance of the Part time Teachers will also be reviewed at the time of visit of Officers from the Head Office / District Office.

8. The District Coordinators are instructed to monitor the entire process of engaging of part time teachers in the existing vacancies and see that the vacancies are filled by 15.06.2016 positively

9. It should be clearly informed to the part time teachers that their services will be withdrawn at any time as and when a regular / contract teacher is posted in their place or if their performance is not found satisfactory.

10. No formal appointment order should be given to those who are selected.

11. A formal press statement should be issued.

Any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously.
